We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined the Anthousa Chapter for our unforgettable event, “A Night in the Plateia,” featuring the hilarious and heartwarming comedy of Angelo Tsarouchas! Your presence brought joy, laughter, and a true sense of community to the evening. From the delicious Greek cuisine and festive atmosphere to the shared laughter echoing through the hall, the night was a beautiful reminder of the power of fellowship. It was a night filled with connection, culture, and celebration —all made possible by your enthusiasm and support. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated chairpersons Olympia Kyriakidis and Christine Tradas,our incredible volunteers, and generous sponsors who helped bring this vision to life. Your time, talent, and contributions made every detail shine. Events like these remind us of the strength, spirit, and unity of our St. Spyridon family.
Our New Philoptochos Board
We are proud to announce the results of our recent Philoptochos Chapter board elections, held on Sunday, May 18th. We are blessed to welcome a devoted group of women who will continue to uphold the mission and good works of our beloved chapter. Their unwavering commitment to faith, fellowship, and service is truly inspiring. Please join us in congratulating our newly elected board members: Melanie Anastopulos, Gina Balourdas, Francesca Captain, Michelle Defelippi, Marian Dougenis, Nikki Dougenis, Diane Durvis-Eakes, Lynn Jury, Olympia Kyriakidis, Alexandra Mouzas, Stella Pappas, Maria Platis, Kelly Samouris, Sofia Samouris, Sasha Savvides, Lucretia (Lucy) Simitzes, Maria Stokes, Christine Tradas, and Marilyn Yeatts. These women will continue to lead with compassion, faith, and a deep commitment to service. We look forward to the meaningful work ahead under their leadership, including upcoming outreach initiatives, community support programs, and spiritual enrichment opportunities.

As I conclude my term as President, I am filled with deep gratitude for the blessing of leading our chapter over the past four years. This journey has been one of faith, fellowship, and purpose—and I am truly humbled by the love and support I’ve received along the way.To my dedicated board, thank you for your tireless efforts, your wisdom, and your unwavering commitment to our shared mission. To the entire St. Spyridon community: your encouragement, participation, and generosity have been the heart of everything we’ve accomplished. Together, we’ve built more than programs and events—we’ve nurtured a vibrant, compassionate community rooted in service and love. It has been my honor and privilege to serve, and I look forward to supporting the continued growth of our chapter in the years to come.
